helping out.
been making some uncomfortable observations this winter. pretty uncomfortable, indeed.

here goes: Congratulations! you recently purchased a high-quality coat. it probably set you back a pretty penny. unfortunately, you were never instructed in the next steps that necessarily follow said purchase... you didn't even know that there WERE next steps.well, i'm here to help you out.
concepts:
1. garments as shown in the store are not meant to be worn that way on the street
a. they have at least one form of price tag on them - you already know to cut these off. i hope.
b. they are probably coated in "sizing" (not a big deal - some people like to wash/dry clean this off, but i kind of like it)
c. (this is the big one) they sometimes have "tailors tacks" that hold them loosely in shape
- they may be found on pleated skirts, over the mouths of pockets, or holding a coat's kick pleat in place WHILE HANGING IN THE STORE
- these LOOSE, GIGANTIC, OBVIOUS stitches may not even have knots holding them in place, signifying that they are NOT INTENDED FOR PERMANENCE
that said, I would appreciate if everyone would take a quick glance at the backsides of their outerwear and look for a telltale "X" holding a pleat in an awkward position. if you find one, cut or rip it out. you will no longer look like some ignorant nouveau riche fuck up.
(females, i know this may be confusing given the recent popularity of the "bubble" shape, but your coat was more than likely not designed to look like that - you just didn't snip out those tailor tacks. your bottom would look much better if it had a properly-draped coat covering it up instead of ballooning it into giantess proportions. i promise.)
thanks. -Leslie

Poetry is working well for me. Thanks, ted.
ran into my ex on the subway yesterday evening. apparently i look loud sometimes - i thought i was the only one who saw this.
I personally feel that the things I say in group discussions are obvious, and they may very well be. That said, it seems that few agree with me on this point - which makes me feel pretty good. just sayin.
I am who I am/what I am. and who i am doesn't have rhythm. i can just spell it.
italic garamond ampersand. heck yes.

no time

...to be sick. i haven't felt this shitty in so long. i have trouble standing. reading about sociology is going okay, but i have no confidence that i have comprehended anything i have read. fuck. this should have happened over break, when i could be babied and not have responsibilities and obligations. NOT missing class. i need to save up those absences. fuck.
