i can still wear hats

thank god. nothing like getting pretty. i grew 5 inches after this haircut - cool, right?? proportions are awesome like that. fyi, locks of love would never have accepted my hair because of its extensive damage from over-processing. by the time i showed up to get it cut this morning, it was in such a state of disrepair that the stylist just laughed after trying to comb through parts of it...and just cut the rats nests out. and then told me i should have cut it sooner because it was "all kinds of thrashed." i swear to god she said that. she is cutting my hair from now on (especially because it cost $50 instead of the $150 i could have expected it to cost anywhere else in this godforsaken city).

side note: the phrase/word (?) "semi-erotic" is totally bizarre to me, yet, i still want to use it as often as i can manage. also, despite being an amateur grammar asshole (though, obviously, not while i am writing this blog...), i for some reason have no objection to the use of a given race as an adverb. Ex: he talks white; she dresses black; dana looks mexi, etc. while, at the same time, i have a conniption fit every time i hear someone utter "A whole NOTHER." it is pure foolishness. even more tragic are the times i hear news anchors and broadcasters in general slaughter the English language like that. see stuff white people like for more. it's an abuse of power. bleh. in a bit i'm going to go to the Barney's warehouse sale- or what's left of it.
